The Basic Electronics Course is bifurcated into Two Levels. Students below ages of 9 years are recommended to join from Level 1, while students between 9-11 years of age are recommend to join from Level 2 and move up.

Basic Electronics Level - 1/ Duration:14hrs

Eligibility
You are eligible for this program if:
  • You are about 8-9 years of age
  • School students.
  • First step for Hobbyists, who are inclined towards electronics
What is this course about?

Electronics is one of the key foundational skills to teach kids since a basic understanding of electronics is essential to move on to many great computing and robotics projects. We offer kids, electronic courses that cover everything from the basics right to the advanced. And our projects will ensure you can put your new electronics knowledge to good use. All you need is basic math skill. In the first three lessons we introduce basic electronics concepts. In the remainder of the class, a new electronic component is introduced in each lesson with project.

Basic Electronics Level-2 / Duration:20hrs

Eligibility
You are eligible for this program if:
  • You are above 9 years of age.
  • School students..
  • First step for Hobbyists, who are inclined towards electronics
What is this course about?

Electronics has become important to many fields; communications, automotive, security, defence and consumer electronics, to name just a few. This course will familiarize you with the theory behind various types of electrical and electronic circuitry. It concentrates on practical aspects of the technology, rather than delving into depths of theory that will be of little value in real-world working situations.

By the end of this course, anyone with an interest to learn basic electronics should be able to read a schematic and build a circuit using standard electronic components.

Areas for exploring:
  • Basic Electronics Circuit design
  • Ohm's Law
  • Flip-Flips
  • R-C Oscillators
  • Working of Transistors
  • Concept of Darlington Pair
  • Working of IC 555.
Projects
Design and develop the following Electronics projects:
  • Ohms Law Circuit
  • Darlington Circuit
  • Fire Alarm
  • Light Sensitive Morning Alarm
  • Flip-flop Circuits
  • Melody Circuits
  • 4 key Piano Project
  • Police Siren
  • Transistor as Switch
  • Plant water Reminder
  • Wire Current Detector
  • Light Sensitive Music
Course Highlights
  • Learn by doing with 2 hour sessions
  • Hands on with over 10 Projects.
  • Breadboard method - Using breadboard is best for experiments as its safe, easy and fast method.
  • No Soldering needed - Soldering with hot iron not only needs caution for user but it can also destroy electronic components as they are temperature sensitive, High temperature can break the internal circuits of IC etc.
  • Battery Operated - No live supply, AA cells are the best option for any starter hobbyist as they are safe to use and are also safe for electronic components
Kit Content

You will be given the following kit during the program

  • Project Starter kit
  • Breadboard
  • Electronic components like Resistors, Capacitors, ICs, LEDs, Switches etc
  • e-book
  • Video DVD
